Scope of delivery
In the original packaging of the A500 Mini, a USB controller with eight buttons are located next to the small variant of the home computer and a USB mouse with two buttons. While the enclosed controller has never appeared on the market, but as a new building was modeled as the Gamepad of the Amiga CD32, the mouse is true to the design of the original "tank mouse". The new vision of the mouse is only minimal smaller and says goodbye to the classic roller ball at the bottom, instead, is set to a simple optical sensor.
Which games are preinstalled by the A500 Mini?
For the "Thea500 Mini", 25 original games (until 1997) were newly licensed. The titles can be selected and started in the own launcher via the GAMEPAD, the mouse control is not supported in the game selection. Over the sortable bar of the Launcher, you will find the possible input methods (controller, mouse or both), a single or multiplayer display and a short introduction text of the focused title.
With the selection, some very well-known classics are represented, including about Another World, Alien Breed, Chaos Engine, Pinball Dreams, Speedball 2 or Zool, but we miss a whole series of other upquarters. Perhaps this is a small sacrifice that had to be provided for the global release or to address players from all continents. Because just some contributions from the European area, where the Amiga like the C64 and other home computers were particularly successful. For example, the absolutely tremendous Amiga-hit Turrican 2 of the German developers of Rainbow Arts / Factor 5, which also German role-playing Ambermoon or Amberstar or the round strategy Battle Isle from Blue Byte. After all, own Amiga games may be transferred to the A500 Mini via USB. A whdload functionality is integrated.
The A500 Mini costs 129.99 euros (available at Amazon in stock). A second Joypad is 24.99 euros, an additional mouse as well.
